Little nice smile check
Little people need their teeth checked too! A fun visit to the dentist on one of our special children’s days during a school holiday helps keep their teeth healthy and ensures that children understand that a visit to the dentist is fun!
While we can see children at any time and always have a supply of stickers, the balloons and cartoons are only around on our children’s days (otherwise the adults would want them too!)
If your children play any sports where they might damage their teeth (e.g. football, rugby, hockey or maybe even conkers!) we can take impressions to make a custom mouthguard to help protect their teeth. The bit they’ll enjoy most is choosing their favourite colour (or the favourite team colour!) for their mouthguard. We can make these for adults too (helping you avoid needing to visit our page about implants!).
We also offer preventive treatments to seal the fissures of newly erupted teeth, making them easier to keep clean and less likely to develop cavities.
We normally start seeing children around 3-4 years of age. We usually find it is advantageous to let children see an older sibling or parent have a check up before their first visit to the dentist.
