Emergency treatment

Broken a tooth? Had toothache all night? Lost a crown?

We always try to offer appointments every day for dental emergencies. While these appointments will be within normal clinic hours, we may (at our discretion) be able to see you outside these times if we can. Outside our normal hours our email is checked regularly (we have a blackberry!) and is normally the quickest and most efficient way of contacting us if you have an urgent problem that you feel can not wait.  Please note there will be an additional charge made if you wish to see us when the practice is normally closed.

If you feel that your problem is severe (e.g. uncontrolled bleeding or difficulty breathing) you should go to your nearest Accident and Emergency Department immediately.

Existing Patients

If you are an existing member of the practice we will always see you as soon as we possibly can (usually within 48 hours or often the same day during the week).

Please click here and login to access our online appointment system which will allow you to choose a convenient time and day for you. Please select a 45 minute 'emergency appointment' from the 'Existing Patient' option list. If you cannot see any available appointments please either email us at ask@reallynicedentist.co.uk or call on 0208 099 4593 and we will try our best to see you as soon as we can!

New Patients

If you are new to the practice we will try and get you an appointment as soon as we can. At your new patient emergency appointment we will work out what is causing your problem, take any necessary x-rays and provide temporary treatment to relieve any pain or prevent pain from occurring from a broken tooth.

Please click here for further details. Alternatively you may email us at ask@reallynicedentist.co.uk or call us on 0208 099 4593 during our normal hours. Please give us as much detail as possible about your problem. We will always respond to your query within 24 hours and usually much quicker than that!

A New patient examination costs £70 and is allows us to assess your mouth and decide what treatment is required. Some examples of emergency treatments are:

e.g. Issue of antibiotics £30, temporary dressing and filling of an abcesssed tooth £180, replacement of a lost filling £180, recementing of a lost crown/veneer £125.
